Learning to Navigate Moods is a powerful starting point for learning to leverage moods to better take care of what matters.

While the program is designed to be a concise introduction, it uncovers a vital yet often overlooked dimension of working effectively with others – the ability to navigate moods. Developing this ability is essential for coordinating, collaborating, and co-inventing with others to address shared concerns.

The 5-module program will provide you with tools and practices to continue developing your ability to navigate moods long after the course ends. Graduates report increased confidence, greater ease in daily interactions, and a sharper ability to recognize conversations they could have and actions they could take to better care for what matters to them.

Learning to Navigate Moods is offered in two different formats: one for individuals and one for teams.

  • Over the course of the program you will learn to:

    • Better recognize moods and how they may be influencing you.

    • Reflect on your moods and identify actions that you could take in coordination with others to care for what matters to you.

    • Cultivate moods more conducive to accomplishing what you aim accomplish in specific situations.

    • Review strengths and challenges, and identify opportunities for ongoing learning and practice.

  • This program is designed for both individuals and teams, with slight variations in format:

    • For individuals, the program runs 6-8 weeks, depending on your schedule, and includes one-on-one coaching every 7-10 days. You can start any time that is convenient for you.

    • For teams, the program runs 8-10 weeks, depending on the team's schedule, and in addition to one-on-one coaching for each member of the team, it includes five group sessions led by a senior Plural coach. These meetings support you to practice as a team, reflect together on moods present in specific work-related situations, and explore actions that you could take to address what you identify as important. Start dates are flexible. 

    Regardless of the format you choose, during the program you will have access to:

    1. Learning Modules. The program has a sequence of carefully crafted modules which include short readings and videos, as well as questions to orient your learning. 

    2. Exercises. In addition to real-life exercises, you’ll have access to exclusive Plural AI-assisted gyms and guides, featuring exercises for navigating restrictive moods that commonly emerge when working with others, like resignation, distrust and overwhelm, and cultivate more expansive moods, like confidence, resolution and trust.

    3. One-on-one Coaching. You’ll be assigned a Plural coach that is qualified to aid you to reflect on your learning, explore real life situations, and identify opportunities for you to practice in real life scenarios.
